Will run saw for wood!

Dont know if you remember the big 40" oak I posted pics of on AS. That came from the same neighbor that ask me to cut the poplar up. They've also given me a handful of 20 to 25" oaks in the past. So I try to help them when they ask also doesnt hurt theres 3 more good size oaks they want to take down in the future.

I like that, not everyone has the ability to cut or the desire/equipment, but working together gets the job done and helps meet others needs at the same time, win win.

I'll talk to them today and see if they will still give them to me. I dont have anything to pick them up to load. I could probly drag them to my place with the kabota if you wanted to cut them there and we could figure something out to load them.

If you can lift one end up onto a log you can then back the trailer up and pull them on with a come a long or of you have the trailer jackknifed you can use the tractor with a rope through the front.

Another good way is from the side, put a couple boards on the side of the trailer(more if needed), attach two ropes to the trailer 6-8' apart, lay the ropes out and roll the log onto them, bring the ropes over the log and to the opposite side of the trailer, hook them to the tractor and pull them on.
Go to 4 min for the action.
If you have the trailer on a hill like they did you can put short 2x4's in the trailer to keep the log from rolling hard into the other side.

You could jackknife the trailer and pull the Firebird in front of it and use the winch on that and pull it up like this too.

Last load. I packed it in there pretty good. Had to be 2k. I had 90 in the bags and she still sagged.







Rocked the noodle saw so I had to file a little. Glad I had the stump vice along.

I'd have kept a couple buckets of noodles they make great fire starter in the stove.

I brought home a large trash bag full. Had to put it in the back seat, bed was full.
