420 through to 6100 .....Might have to look at the bigger ones at some point before the name change. Oh by the way ...Colombian Quinchia in the mug :D
My 421 is my dedicated beat em up saw. It will spend most it's life on the wheeler taking care of anything that comes up. Lol

Pretty much the same sort of thing here for mine...hedge /fence line maintaining. Small fuel consumption enables me to walk with the saw and not need a fuel/oil can for most jobs. Cuts plenty fast on timber up to 6 in ..no need for more when im pruning trees/bushes.

Iv got to say that the smoothness and anti vibe is making using the 5105 very enjoyable . Some maple and thorn trees overhanging a field line gave me a spread of usage (de branching, cross cutting ,felling) to give it some more brake in. Another 1 -1/2 tanks with no regrets so far

Played in mean worked my 421 tonight. I made that little bugger noodle some white oak that was knarly and fard as can be. The husqvarna splitting maul just bounced off the top and it usually penetrates very well.
Oh ps

I record videos of me splitting wood to watch. I don't know if it is even possible to bore me with chainsaws shoot I even watch Poulan 5020 videos.
That little dirty secret stays between you and I!

Got my 6100 demo saw home from the dealer , his last Dolmar saw (2014 build) except a 420 which he plans on keeping . He is no longer selling Dolmar and is going to close shop soon .
Has a 20" bar with .325 chain which is odd to me for a 60cc saw . I'll change it to an 18" 3/8" to suit me although it does cut very well with the .325 but I'm sure it would do better with 3/8".

I'm just glad to find one , it is so frickin hard to find them now and the new Makita site is a joke , most dealers they list have bailed on them and no longer sell them .

Couple hours on it at most Simondo , just a bit of paint off the bar .
For the price and the fact this dealer is done selling saws I feel I was lucky to get it .
Yeah , no big deal switching it to 3/8 , just takes $$$ :D

I've never though of looking on the Makita site. I have looked at Dolmar a few times and didn't find anything.

According to the Makita site there is a dealer 5 minutes from my home. Never knew there was any kind of OPE or even tookl dealer where they show this one.

You will be still braking in the saw with that little on it....nice .
Any other of your saws bar patterns sub across, although 20" is not a bad size giving about 19" out front.
