Ford vs chevy = ford was around first time then Chevrolet came and made cars better.

Husqvarna vs Stihl = Husqvarna was around first then Stihl came and made chainsaws better. ( even though I think Stihl made them first )
Then echo came along and hopefully lowers everybodys prices or the chinese will. saws are stupid expensive here and ludicrous expensive around the world lol

We are in the process of getting some kits for our members........with better top ends. No worries.

Get 12 extra saws exactly alike without cylinders for the 12 saw of Christmas 2017. For the cylinder, Run what you brung. And put them on that dyno for some friendly Cheap fun.

I know way back Definitive Dave made some post's (perhaps it was on AS) about some quality problems with the pistons hitting the counterweights on the MS660 Chinese kits. Does anyone know if they resolved this problem or have I missed something along the way. I was thinking the Hutzl kit with the Cross Performance cylinder kit may be an interesting endeavor! :D

Exactly I placed a order with a friend and stocked up. Yeah I'll let you know. I told him if anything ever acted different then lmk because something's wrong. From the start I had OEM Seals, Chain Tensioner, Caps, Rim sprocket, Rope rotor, Bar Nuts, Exhuast gasket, Clutch springs, and Top Handle. That's what I found it needed for him to use it and abuse it. And plug the decomp valve.

We have been doing a quick test on the decomp valves before we ahip them.
Before they go in the bubble
Mailer we jerk them like we are trying to. Reak them a couple of times.
Bad ones go in the farmertec return box.
Has cut returns way down and the valves sourced from NWP are nicer as well.

They fixes the problem with the wrong aize piston quite a while ago.

The inconsistency is a real thing and we all need to keep an eye on it.

What would you say to the 660 kit with a Cross Performance Top end Dave.
I know you may be still trying to shake the sand out of your hair and all from the trip but help us out here.
We lean on you a lot -- but you are DEFINITIVE Dave, and there is no OTHER! :dogpile:
