Good night all. No pictures, but trimmed a road for a guy up here today. Needs to get a container in. Used the echo pole saw, but the silky stole the show today. Many dead limbs, the silky pulls them right off.

Nice bar! I just started a 11 tree removal job today. 7 locust are on the ground as well as one other tree I don't know name of. Might take some pictures tomorrow. Still have trunks to drop. Pretty tall trees they were. Power company removed line Lang highway to drop three of them. They also helped cut some of them down as well. Friends of mine Since I take care of the power companies saws and small engines as well. It is the biggest job I have taken on so far.

Here is a fire map for the wildland fire I was on early this spring... it's not quite as large but for the Northeast it was very large ... between 8000 and 9000 acres ...
All I did was fell snags to maintain access roads ... a 100 plus feet off the roads anything that looked hazardous or on fire ... 95 percent was dead oak. IMG_20160925_094821.jpg
I sawed 6 to 8 hours a day then went to my job ... I missed 1 day at the job after a week of doing this . It was worth it I love the woods!!!
