The picture really doesnt reflect how big that trunk was. I used the 880 with a 41" bar and it barely was big enough to flush it. I have to go back tomorrow and do some final raking and trim up a big locust tree in the back yard. Guy said insurance said trees were hazardous and needed to be cut down and trimmed. We have been hammered by two significant storms this summer and people are a lot more uncomfortable with trees now after that as is the insurance companies I guess.

Also have to grind out stump clean and back fill with top soil (the works)

Had a big hickory get uprooted and snapped off at my buddies house when we had a tornado a couple months back took a while to clean up all of the top branches were under pressure from where it fell on a pine and a cedar. Hickory was about 3ft at the stump man that stuff is heavy been a while since I had run a saw to do real work it wore me out but I had a blast.

Always wanted to go to the PNW never made it farther west than TN. One day when I retire the wife and I will go and see the big trees out there. Really enjoyed reading this thread.

I absolutely love it here. Home in the redwoods:) that hickory cleanup looked fun. Little mess.
