I second that and do the same. Usually Joey does 2It makes for a nice pic, but I ALWAYS wear a helmet when felling, and it has saved me from falling/spring loaded branches that were not obvious.
Where do you find them? I'm sure there's thousands of kids around here that would rather learn a skill other than the streets or worse.Been working with a local kids, youth center. Gets them off the couch and prepares them for work and trades. Ages 16-25 been teaching them about tree trimming, removal and cutting. Mostly feeding the chipper. Only 18 year olds and up can run saws.

He worries about dead ash falling and hurting his cattle fence line's hay field's etc.
I've been dropping tree's for them since i moved here 6 year's ago probably over 200 by now.
