Nice shed

Thanks. But it's not mine, and it's not really a shed. It's simply where we put the wood in this part of the estate to dry. There's four other places we use as well. But if ya wanna see sheds, we got em.

To the right is a breezeway towards our actual sheds:

This is an image pulled out a bit from the previous one:

Pulled back a bit again:

Looking the other way. You can see the edge of the Castle from this angle. It's literally a stone's throw away:

Pulled back a few hundred yards:

Now this is an actual shed we use for drying:

Pulled back on both sides of it(dunno if there's really a front or back) - it's the last opening on the left here:

And the last one on the right here:

In the middle of all those sheds is this one:

Not far from all those sheds are these sheds:

167386538.CdTkCL2w.DSC_0035.JPG

Pulled in a bit(horse stables, much of which I built):

167370661.TfNNgxr9.DSC02187.JPG

Pulled back a lot:

Random sheds and comeragh view from the back lane on a cold winters morning:

If ya pull back far enough it looks like this(and you're still on the private road on the estate):

We're off of the Suir River in Waterford, Ireland(Tipperary is across the river). Gurteen Estate. I've worked here since 2012 or so as the forester and majorodomo. Think Higgins from the OG Magnum PI, only not as awesome, but still from Texas(didn't know the actor was originally from Texas, didja?).

Where was I? Oh yeah - it's an old estate a friend of mine owns. They've had it in the family for a bazillion generations or so(they were Normans originally). Only selling the castle off to Austrians two gens ago.

A nice fall view of the farm house:

River view during one of the many weddings we have on the estate that force me to stop my firewoodzing and forestry. I'm cool with it. Man needs to rest and reflect and take photos, too, right?

Been busy sorry I've been away. Bunch of jobs. Sunday am super early, received some real hard news. My friend and old climber and tree job and hunting partner, of near 30 years. Died around 12am night before, in a hunting camp. Accidental discharge of his own rifle. He was found by fellow friends and hunters before day break. Been a teary emotional couple days, and lots of prayer for me. He would not have had many equals for climbing, tree work, or shooting abilities. I lost track of the amount of jobs we did, and big boars we caught. Goodbye Amigo. John Parmeter. Cazaderoto CA. Red sweatshirt.

Nobody feel obligated. But my friend setup a go fund me for his wife, and young daughter Edith. Mayria is off work dealing with this. Edith has special needs. Mayria needs to put the pieces back together, and get on her feet now as a single mom.
