Going with the big boy!! Your 2100/2101 may just sit now :(. Lol
Negative:) I'll put the 34inch bar back on it. Not due to lack of power or anything. Rather keep the 2100 usable with an average bar, and not have to play musical bars. But keep the 3120 handy Andy ready with the 50. The 3120 will probably sit the most, but be ready when needed....

Craning trees down around here doesn't happen much. Looks like a awesome time. Being able to set the big logs right into a truck has to be really nice. Care to elaborate on an approximate cost a job like that will bill at? Lot of things to line up if you are blocking an entire street. Do you have to contact law enforcement or something as well.

Norm did you know I picked up a 2100? I don't think I ever posted pics of it. It was a members saw maybe from here that I bought at the Iowa Spring GTG. I dont recall who's it was now for sure since I have slept since then.

Well I have no clue what the overall cost was, but yes we have to run it past the city, and set no parking signs with a 12 hr notice. the crane service cut us a good deal on the crane at 1,000 an hr for a low boy with weights pads and other gear. it is the biggest crane I have worked with on a crane pull tree job. I enjoy the big jobs like that. don't care if I'm in the tree or ground guy those jobs are fun.

Well at $1K an hour that is one expensive tree to remove for sure but if there is no other option than you got to get it done. I think it would be neat to work with one on a job. Seems like it would be quite a production.
