A seller on Fleabay I get parts from currently has the Efco 5600 on sale for $199.00 shipped. Anybody have experience with one of these things? Supposedly has a mag crankcase and adjustable oiler. Sounds like a good deal to me!

Gotta complete the sale of the other saw first!
If it is anything like my Efco 156 I like it a lot. Very dependable saw, I think this is newer EPA model. Looks like a open port cylinder in pictures I saw. May be made in China and not Italy like they once were. Great price on that size saw.

I don't know because they're export models, but low budget price and some particulars could lead one to think about a chinese production.

Theese pics are from a chinese saw, mt5100 is similar, simply a clone of 50cc Zenoah, better quality for sure

Thanks a lot, I found some chats on AS which suggested the same thing. If the 5100 and 5600 aren't actual Efco designs but rather something else with the Efco name applied, I think I'll pass.

Anyone know ring dimensions for oly 264? Like to get rings before tear down (100 psi). Compared with broken ring through ex port. 0.045 (1.14 mm). Not sure I believe that. Also, what is diameter?
EDIT. Oops, looks like 0.059” ( 1.5mm ). Duh!

Visit Dandikrop website, AKA ‘The Greek’ on evilbay.

He lists rings by application and by size on his website (EBay store).

Anyone got access to seals or case gasket or electronics coil for a 254? Tired of this being on my shelf

Most gaskets could be made with a gasket hammer and some gasket material. I know places like motion industries can get single and double lip seals of almost any size if you take an old one out to measure.

I do have dimensions, in my computer. I’ve spent several hours and been through many seal handbooks - SKF, National, dichtomatic, etc. no joy. Seems to be oddball size.
May have to split the case and try to salvage the “new” seals by driving out from inside. Course then I gotta make splitter tool w/o a welder. Got an idea just need my round tuit to work
