I like them.

Pumped 170, 150 & 170 when they came in my door.[emoji15]

Fuel system service, spur drums and clean up is all they needed.[emoji106]

Im still rich for sure but just couldn’t find an actual max rpm is all. I’m definitely keeping it and if I need Parts it will just require searching. Would bring in for repairs anyway.

Good luck on that. Got several oly parts saws cause of the coil. Got no idea on interchanges but you would have a bunch of new friends if you came up with one. Only suggestion i have us to find an oleo mac dealer and get him to price one from italy. I got OE seals that way. If you find a source please post it or, better yet, send me a private message Good luck

If you do, a thread, with a link here, would be outstanding. Shame to put a saw down cause of nonobtanium parts

Well, the 251 is up and running! I took the coil over to the vice sat it on top and drove the winding off the laminate after cutting the tie ground strap. Got out my box of coils and picked one that had a close sized center hole and a ground the was wedge fit. ( no idea what it came off) I drove this coil onto the laminate using a hammer on the metal lam and re-installed the coil. STARTED ON THE SECOND PULL!!!!! Why do people make things so hard, redneck works will always win out in the end.

It wasn't a great fit, the center lam was a hair wider than the opening in the coil. I didn't dare to grind on the steel of the core due to the way that the lams are separated, I would ask some questions over on the antiqueoutboard site, those guys fix everything. The chances of perfect timing are slim but sounds pretty good and idles fine. As for the coil, I didn't see any marking on it. I will look again today.

Guys I need help identifying an Olympyk chainsaw. Where can I tell someone on the phone to look for a tag or label or something??? I’m trying to get pictures right now. He has described a 999 but I want to make sure before I buy it.
