Here is a slightly modified Farm Boss type spike adapted to an Olympyk 264.

The above is in dire need of a good fuel cap that hasn't been cross threaded. [emoji22]

It's a shame. They are great little saws.

So they’re a pretty good saw? It’s dirty but nice shape overall. Are they hard to get Parts for if I need any?

Great saws. Excellent engineering.
Parts can be had but may have to work at it. You can get seals from efco dealer; not cheap since they come from italy. Same with rings or get them from the greek. Sprockets from Oregon. Carb kits easily available.

Kinda hit and miss I hear with the efco now a days. Is that true? Warranty being sketchy and lots of little issues ect. Buddy has a 251 i think back in high school and there was an olympyk dealer in town but he’s done now.

Not certain I like the rewind design on that 264. Have to take it all apart to put new rope in and the metal clip on end of rope? See what I think after it’s running and I use it a bit. If it doesn’t impress me it will be for sale on here since there isn’t any dealers around here anymore.

Well other than the slightly goofy rewind I like the 264 very much. Little heavy but nice running saw and I think it will run right next to an 041 or 036. Will be staying in collection only needed rewind fixed. Set it by ear and pulled tach out after tuned it’s turning about 11,500 is this to fast?
