The Agristar has plastic clutch and starter covers, may have been sold as a cheaper homeowner model
back in the 80's.

I quite like the look of the oleo mac 962
I brought a wrecked one which I would like to get running
Are they as good as what they look?

Yes they're excellent saws.

I am looking for a few olympyk parts, if anyone can help, let me know.

For 264F I need:
Chainbrake band
Inner and outer spike
Air filter cover.

For 272 I need:
Inner spike

For 284F I need:
Chain brake lever

I have much to trade!

Revived this old girl. 264F = 61cc. Other than the normal cosmetic issues that come with age, this saw is in fantastic mechanical shape. Strong 175 psi @ 5000' and starts on the second pull.

Efco 156---165 questions.
I have a 156 that needs a new top end, will the 162 work? I know that the 165 had a 1mm longer rod than the 156, not sure about the 162.
Does anyone know for sure?
Thanks

My latest 264F needs new bar studs. So having a friend make a pair or me.

But instead of the 10mm (?) shoulder we will make them 3/8" so I can use one of the many Homelite pattern bars on hand.[emoji108]

Maybe even modify Homie bar plates to boot.[emoji848]

The other option would be to use Stihl 038 style studs.

But then we would have to use a Stihl pattern bar and drill new dog holes.
