The 4510 I recently got has the new limiter caps, requiring the use of the 91157 tool. The D of the needles, however, is too small for the Large D tool, 91085. There is conveniently a slot in which a small screwdriver will fit, which I always carry any how, but does anyone know the part number for the Echo tool that will fit the D on this? Is it 91187, or. . . ?

Thanks!

The 4510 takes the same 91157 tool as the 4920. I can't get the tool to pull the limiter caps and no place tells you how to do it.
I am having the same problem. I have a 4920 I need to get the caps out to adjust the carb, like you I bought the 91157 tool. A friend owns a Echo dealership so I went to him, he has the same tool but never used it. He grabbed a 4920 and only half of the first cap came out, so on the other cap, he screwed the tool in until it bottomed out and pulled what looked like the entire limiter cap, but that needle won't adjust either. Hope someone has an answer here. Thanks

I’ll share this here as well. I haven’t done it personally but a couple guys that have said it works perfectly.

I did a variation of what Kevin has suggested with the YouTube video. Used a 1/16th carbide end mill in a dremel and removed the material in the cap until I could screw the needle all the way in and out. Took the needles out and the caps slide right off. I'm sure drilling works just as well
