How wide are the piston skirts? You may be limited by that in addition to the narrowly shaped exhaust port. Echos tend to be very conservative with port timing and duration. Most Japanese brands go for a wider torque band with peak power being developed at a lower RPM range.

It's a full circle piston...skirt width is not a issue...but locating pins are in such a area I can't widen upper trans very much at all...I could flip the piston and put some fingers in there....

Realistically. ..prob a 24" for firewood duty....but there is a evil voice in my head that says "all out race saw" cause echo sponsers and sends in a film crew for a few of our events

I like Echo's version of Timbersports. Hey SP, have you ever got a close look at Matt Marks' hotsaw he built?

I just picked one up with a scored p/c. It has a HDA153A carb on it which looks real small. Will be looking for some parts if anyone has any laying around!

Send me a pic of your carb looking down the bore from choke side. Might be a cheep fix

That is a husky 136 carb. It was a accelerator pump carb. I made it for a echo 330T 360t drop in.
