Saw 1 has had a couple tanks of fuel. Saw 2 is fresh off the bench.

Ok. So on this saw. I took the .039" off the base to set squish. Just like the other saw. Muffler is modded the same. And no timing changes yet.

But on this saw I widended the intake to 60% and lowered to 80 deg which it lands at 79. So I'm just cleaning up the bottom basically. The exhaust is widened to 60% as well as opened up on the exit. And set at 108.

On the transfers I raised them way up. Went 128 mains and 132 secondaries. Which the secondaries are a pain lol.

And while it's hard to tell in the vid. Saw #2 turns better rpm and has a better throttle response. It seems a little sluggish in the vids as it's brand new. Wait till it gets a few tanks of fuel.

So I tore saw 1 back down. And well While I swore I had some of these. Saw 1 is on hold. As I need a base gasket or 2 to keep playing. Maybe 3 or 4. Lol

I'm not sure to be honest. But I do no I like them. Lol.

Ok guys. I got the base gaskets in today. And off I went. I tore back into saw 1. Now that said when you watch this vid remember saw 1 still has a tad more fuel ran threw it. I'll get a couple comments and then tell ya what I did to saw 1.

They both ran very strong. I give the nod to saw 2. It looked like it had a slightly bigger bar. Looked like saw 2 cut a little faster.
Both very nice saws though.

Where does the comp end up on these?

Saw 2 is up round 108 exhaust.

Nope. Same bar and chain factory 18" bar and chain on both.
