It is only Tuesday and the way this week is looking it will be next week before I can get an order together. I have been on hold with the State of Iowa for 20 minutes................they keep breaking in saying my estimated wait time is zero minutes.............

The 131 is going to one of my sons. I need to check my old pole saw and see what it needs. i believe it is 3/8Lp 44dl .043.

I spun up 6 20” chains for the tree service yesterday so we’ll see what he thinks in a couple weeks. Local shop is out of Stihl chains at the moment and they went up recently to 42$ for a 72 driver rs chain.

Seems to be the way of the world at the moment. Was about 15$ cheaper a few weeks ago but Stihl had a price hike do to things out of their control i believe.

As long as there are "insert Your favorite name calling" blindly paying atrocious prices there will be a never ending increase in retail pricing!

Stihl is in full control of their product prices, ask their stock holders!

If something needs to be "normalized" then it is NOT NORMAL and has to be counteracted & opposed with full force!

You realize if this was true nothing would never change in price, I’ve heard you say you can’t buy things from certain places because of shipping and taxes make it too expensive. Well this affects people and companies around the world and it’s not something you can “control” as a company or person. Sometimes it is what it is, you either buy because you need it or you don’t. Or you find an alternative to the expensive products sometimes you can sometimes not. If a product costs 1/2 as much but lasts 1/4–1/3 as long that’s not any cheaper than the expensive one. Lot of prices are because of the area it’s made ect.

Price is full MSRP
3/8x .050x91dl RS chain currently $60.87 up from $48.94
I expect the box will be pretty dusty when it gets sold.

We like that. I hear they run a sale sometimes where you buy 2 and get 1 free.

Really, it's a good chain, but the price is too high now, like I said, we like that.

Well so far the tree service is having positive things to say about the dukes chain and will be buying some more. And will continue if it proves to be fairly consistent and it doesn’t have hard and or soft batches. I know the first tri link chains I used were really bad some teeth were like butter and a few so hard my file just skated across them.
