.050" = 1.3mm
.058" = 1.5mm
.063" = 1.6mm

Although as a metal worker I believe that every added tenth millimeter of steel ads strength , the chain gauge mess is pure manufacturer marketing nonsense.

Yes, the difference between .050" and .063" is noticeable, but it is not necessarily significant depending on the intended application.
I don't understand metric, or Celsius

Don't worry pal, I don't understand that "other" measuring system (10 laundry machines widths, or something like that) nor Fahrenheit!

I do know what a 50 cal is though. :)

What I wanted to say was, pro chain gauges is splitting hair!

To me durability is the main thing.

I cut a mess of wood yesterday but the dukes never made it off the truck, oops.
