I see that its $28 per Qt on Amazon-- is that about right? I would have thought it would have been closer to $ 13-15 per QT.
Is that about what everyone is paying for a Qt of this stuff?
Sometimes Amsoil offers free shipping on $50 orders. It's a lot cheaper that way

I think amsoil considers dominator a racing type oil vs saber general type use. Both are quality oils I would use whichever one you can get easy and have good luck with. I think saber has more fuel stabilizers in it than dominator

That's what I read, and I also thought I read sabor had corrosion protection if the saw sat for a while? I've always ran Amsoil, so I'm not knocking on one or the other. Just curious. I always thought dominator was for race engines and of course race engines really don't sit for a long periods of time.

Dom has corrosion inhibitors like the others but no fuel stabilizer. I use it because it’s more readily available in 1 quart jugs with the sight window on the side for measuring and it burns cleaner. The stabilizer would be the only reason I’d use it over dominator in a saw if your fuel sits for a long time. Between the mower, Ranger, backpack blowers and saws, I end up getting 10 gallons of E free every couple months anyway so it‘s not an issue

If you read from here on I asked pretty well the same question and got some pretty good info.

at 32:1 with dominator I can notice my saws running differently upon initial start up while still on the choke, the saws maintiain a little bit higher RPM, run smoother and don't have as bad of a missfire, if thats what you wanna call it.
