The solo hybrid I purchased from Randy is just an absolute peach. Starts nicely, runs beyond expectations, for a "used" saw it is absolutely flawless. The AV is a touch tender but I honestly prefer it that way myself. I hope to have some video soon

Is it normal when doing 272 coil on 7900 to have hot restart need to use high idle? Is the timing too far advanced? Runs great cuts great and idles great just have to pull a couple times or use high idle and starts right up. Also has other aftermarket parts so might not be coil related just wanted to see if anyone else has ran into this.

It’s more likely the metering needle is letting fuel through. They need a stiffer spring

Honestly, my personal opinion, one of the best saws ever produced. The whole line up honestly, being they're the same saw with different top ends. Great chassis..,and every motor has its qualities. But ported 64/7910 is top dawg :D

Showing off my XS5000 yesterday I flooded her miserably, she still came to life though spitting fuel out of the muffler - tough saw!

I missed the "pop" and pulled the cord under choke one too many times, the moment I smelled gas I knew I F-ed up.
