Dolmar PS-7310 with 24" B&C, Carlton full chisel skip chain, round filed bucked up this turkey oak log not finishing the cuts as each cut was pinching the B&C.
I hit something embedded in the bark and rocked the chain.
Smacked in some wedges every two-three rounds and made "finishing cuts" with my Dolmar PS-6400 with 20" B&C, TriLink semi chisel full comp round filed.

Ordering has become more of a pain as they want a makita part number now I was told.
One IPL featuring both Dolmar and Makita model!
Interchangeable parts have the same part numbers.
Parts like decals and differently colored case parts have individual part numbers.

Anyone have the part number for the cylinder kit w the starter side decomp for a 7910?
Dustin, this is the part number for the older top ends: 038-130-070

That’s the starter side decomp, but with the piston from the 7910, so the updated replacement top end for the older saws. Think DCS7901.

You can find those for about $150 if you look in the right places.

Touched up the chain, switched from Archer FastFiler roller guide to Husqvarna roller guide.
The Husqvarna roller guide places the file much higher into the tooth, curious to see how the chain will perform as it was a little agressive filed with the Archer FastFiler.

OK, someone has to ask, may just as well be me.

Why TF did You do that!!!

These are the last I will ever let go.
I have quite a few saws, I'll probably be okay lol.
It was my plan for many yrs, when the time came to build my barn, sell some saws, one step back, to take two forward.
Rocking the plan .
