Lol. I had one. I liked it. I just can't tune those Dolkitas. With that said, I do have a nice Dolkita 9010.
It was pretty hard for sure being frozen, but previously dead standing locust is harder . There surely isn't going to be many big chips. That chain was a fresh square ground work chain.Nice! Much better for that saw. Wood looks like marble.
Look good Joe.
And so it goes, another disappears down the blue worm hole.
Did you advance the timing? They like a little bit, but too much and they pop. Nice results though Joe. Nice wide powerband.
Waste of money and restrict flow. What's the general feeling on the HD filter set-up for the 79xx's boys? A quick search seemed to indicate that they were flow restrictive? My (ported) saw has a white filter under a shiny black oe 'low' cover at present.
Hey Mason you forgot the IMO part...Waste of money and restrict flow.
It’s not an opinion it’s a proven fact as you stated. The HD filter “neck” is mostly the problem. Some have made custom velocity stacks with aftermarket filter options that make the HD setup work better for them.Hey Mason you forgot the IMO part...
While tests have been done that do prove the restricted air flow with the stock filter the HD cover gives you space to make it worth it.
