Popoff pressure in @Wilhelm saws is probably a tad low. The tank vent design on these saws also causes a lot of pressure to build up in the tank in the summertime. Which can force the needle open flooding the saw.
On all four saws equally? o_O

Today my PS-6400 sounded off "cold start" first pull no choke, no high idle.
Had I engaged choke+high idle she'd certainly have flooded.

They definitely have too low of pop off pressure. Mine did it until I changed out to a Walbro carburetor, and I had a brand new 6400 sit here for a month. Every bit of fuel in the tank ended up in the case and muffler just sitting in my garage where it was cold at night and warm during the day when I was out there

Wilhelm, get a bag of these springs, and put them in your carbs. This was the official fix from Dolmar for the flooding issue. Pretty common on these saws.

I need to start using my new 24" B&C setup to fill the gap between my 20" and 36" B&C setups.

Won the bid on a nice clean looking red 6421 with a scored p&c....Thinking I'll try an 84cc BB kit and test it against the 7900....
I don't need another Smurf....couldnt resist though

I think I'm gonna throw one on my 6400 as well. Only cause I have 2 bb kits sitting here as I got them on the cheap. It's gotta be close to a stock 7900. I understand the oem is best but they're not nearly as cheap as they used to be. And I have the 84's sitting here. Besides, if it's not up for the job I can always pull out the Carl Miller 64/7910 lol.

Be better off with the 7900 top, all the bb does is drink fuel and is
not a good breather, so you won't be getting the power for the fuel
you put in.

Edit....or maybe not....they cancelled the order...probably not interested in shipping to Alaska...oh well...lol
Your lucky, 7900 way better, and cheaper when you count the
wasted fuel the bb drinks for no more power.
And you will always be able to sell an oem based saw given they aren't
making them the ones that are running well will be in demand.

Sondre @SOS Ridgerider had a source for OEM 52mm P&C kits at a very tempting price tag.
I don't know whether they are still available/in stock.
Both the left and right hand decomp top ends are still showing as available.
