I'm looking at a dolmar 133 as a project. It currently doesn't run and I'm told it doesn't get fuel. I'm mostly a husky guy so I'm asking the storehouse of knowledge that is this site: A) is the 133 a good saw and B) are parts even somewhat available? I think the 133 is an 85cc saw and I've always admired the larger dolmars from afar...just wondering if I should pull the trigger on this one. TIA

check carb parts first.
a very bad leaking crankseal will cause very low crank case impulse causing the carb fuel pump diaphragm not to work (not pulling fuel from the gas tank)

Looks to be a 1988 +/- Vintage Sachs Dolmar 143mx 95cc depending on condition that saw was monster torque and ran 25"-40"ish bars very well HS Carb was simple. The parts problem is Ignition That model used SEM which is NLA earlier models had Bosch which are also NLA. Best ignition parts sources are used late model demo saws 309 or 343

Hey Dood.

The 056 SEM repairs mentioned on AS, would that repair be possible with the mentioned Dolly?

Do Youins have a 143mx?

So, I'm breaking down the 143..and have this:

You guys are way better versed at cylinder viability than I am. Is this one ok? Any of you guys need 143 parts? Piston is shot, muffler is banged up, and it's missing the inner dawg but everything else is there and in pretty good shape. Nice full wrap too..trying to decide to fix, part out, or sell as a whole. Advice and comments welcome
