9 times out 10 when a carbide tipped chain comes in the shop apx 1/3-1/2 of the cutters are shot.

From normal use, or are the users hitting stuff? Or do they wait longer to bring it in for sharpening?

I suppose that if I was using expensive chain like that, I would plan on doing a lot of saving damaged chains for donor links, and a lot of spinning and breaking. Would pay for the tools quickly!

Seriously: spinners and breakers are a separate thread, but saving 5 or 6 $20 loops pays for a $110 set pretty quickly!
