Agreed. But when they get put away, beer is open game.I like my beer but having said that one rule I never break is a beer and running power machinery or use of firearms. At the muzzle loader shoots we had a rule, the stopper is in the horn before the cork is out of the jug.
2.5 ish hrs from here. Look up Sailors Creek Outfitters. That is my brother in law. Been there several times.
I enjoy my beer I won't lie, but I would agree with you on this. There is plenty of other days in the year to drink beer so only thing in my cooler will be non alcoholic. You also never know how a lot of personalitys will mix when you throw alcohol in the mix.Just my opinion, but considering that the host of this GTG has already indicated in this thread that he's a recovering alcoholic, seems to me bringing beer (or other alcoholic beverages) would be in poor taste. I think ya'll could go without for one day?
I'll have to see if I can make a pilgrimage from KS for this! For y'all fappers that only read this forum......

Dog huntin' is fun but tough...spent many yrs stationed at MCAS Cherry Point, NC runnin' them. We'd dump dozens of Walkers and Beagles in the woods...still hunting and stand hunting don't stand a chance. It's all about covering the roads, power lines, gas lines, etc, and let the lead fly.Interesting, my mailing will be Rice also. Back in the '80's I used to hunt at High Bridge. We leased a couple thousand acres there but keeping up with the dogs became a real problem and we gave it up.
Trains were still running then and the dogs were running along the Appomattox River so a buddy went out on the bridge to take a look. Coal train came through and he was lucky to get to one of the safety boxes to avoid getting hit.

I don't know either, don't really care too much. I've always wanted to run a 125....cool ass saw for sureDont know Deeter. Give me some time though, steel bore and available pistons make it interesting.
Been there, done that a hundred times. We used, in lieu of CB radios because they were so cluttered, we had marine hand-held radios...of course illegal to use on land, but we'd stay clear of the maritime channels, so no problem. It was always...somebody haul ass to this road, that road, power line, etc., simply trying to cut the deer off. I think back in '89 we collectively shot 98 deer that season...of course everybody in the group slinging their tags up.We only hunted the one tract there, the rest of our ground was 5 miles up the road. There were no roads around the perimeter and only a few logging roads on the interior. Virtually impossible to get in front of them and if the crossed the river or tracks they were gone.
Just some old lawn dart legged hackIf it has already been explained I apologize for not seeing it but who the *f-word is mastermind?
I'll bring a pair of snowshoes for each of ya (so you don't get stuck in the dirt).Sounds like me and him have a couple things in common.
