Wow! I think I need to procure a 9 or ten pin rim. I don't have a long bar...

You have to set the chains up different for 9 pins. 10 pins you have to shape the heel of the bar and shorten it a little or you'll toss chains all time.

What length is that bar? I might have a chain here I can fix where you can get plenty of load with the 8 and might have to go back to a 7.

What length is that bar? I might have a chain here I can fix where you can get plenty of load with the 8 and might have to go back to a 7.
I've got 20",25",28",and 32"
That one was 28"

Looks easy enough to do. I assume if you wanted to run a 10T sprocket you would just cut more off?

When you said "set the chains up different" are you referring to raker heights or?
Pretty much. I run higher rakers and will load a saw hard with angles on the tooth. One chain was too aggressive for Jason's 064 with a 9 pin. Rakers were just barely touched and the teeth filed a couple times
