Thanks Matt! I'm glad you got a chance to run it.Couple quick things from today...
The dyno works. ...well. the kinks are not ironed out but it definitely works well enough to give data that is easily interpreted.
Ran the 350 challenge on the dyno. More on this later. But saw 4 and 5 are nearly identical... oem NE 346xp cylinder vs hyway. ...and out of my bunch they are best. However. Brad Snelling sent his version with popup and it was indeed faster than even my best. Very nice powerband. ...not surprising due to the increase compression on his saw and more open muffler. Of interest...saw 4 has no spark screen and 5 has one.
The stock 350 is quite slow with a stock muffler. Just a muffler mod proves to really wake up the stock 45mm saw.
Jmsaws builds a killer 064.....devastating....and loud.
Paragon builder has a sweet place for a gtg. Thank you!!! The prep here is obvious and extensive....Lotta work went into today.
To mels and cindy...thank you for food!!!! Made this day much smoother.
We had a bit of a light crowd today...but very interactive....a great day to learn and be taught.
Thank you than you thank you all....what a great day.
The old 064 stomped a mud hole in my 661.The old 064 is sporty
The first saw is Mike Lee's no decomp 066 with 220#.Kevin Moparmyway vs Jason jmssaws big saw shootout.
I totally agree. I wish I would have sent the 036 Al did for me for @drf255 to runBtw....
If anyone has the opportunity to have drf255 work their saw over...do it. Class a work for sure.
ooooh no he diiint...dayum sick technique critique bro, playa be like I start them saws like nuttin' sheeeeeet, you feel me?It was kind of funny watching you guys start those. I guess I'm used to them.
Got to pull them over slow once then drop start them. Much easier that way. I had someone ask me if one of mine was locked up.[emoji6]ooooh no he diiint...dayum sick technique critique bro, playa be like I start them saws like nuttin' sheeeeeet, you feel me?
I gotta truckload ... Gotta get in front of computer though... Couple hours before I'll be home.Is it video/picture time yet?
I have had saws I could not budge at all until a real man pulled them over for me.Got to pull them over slow once then drop start them. Much easier that way. I had someone ask me if one of mine was locked up.[emoji6]
Ain't that the troof, I've seen it.I have had saws I could not budge at all until a real man pulled them over for me.
288 was the worst. My dad and a friend were getting some wood when I cut several trees down at home. They were going to use it. Couldn't even turn it over. They used the 576 instead.I have had saws I could not budge at all until a real man pulled them over for me.
Thanks for the shirt Dave! I was going to wear those glasses you gave me but I forgot...PB had to strip down to shirtsleeves to get that puppy started
and such a nice shirt as well
I was getting tired toward the end of the day..It was kind of funny watching you guys start those. I guess I'm used to them.
My FIL brought a 288 with no decomp he bought at an auction thatcher said was locked up....288 was the worst. My dad and a friend were getting some wood when I cut several trees down at home. They were going to use it. Couldn't even turn it over. They used the 576 instead.
My buddy John Laslab yanked my 064 over his head trying to start it. I tried to warn him but he is as big as a bear and was gonna handle up on it!!! . I have to find tdc with about a half a cord length slowly and then pull her like u mean it.I was getting tired toward the end of the day..
