Tank is the whole thing the motor is bolted to. Line goes in at the grommet at the carb.

Your air filter cover is in great shape, take care of it, real fragile cause of the age. Mine got busted when the starter handle got snatched out of my hand.

Carb is a pain to remove also but made it easier to replace fuel line.

Thanks, was afraid that was going to be the case to get it replaced. Will try to fish one in before i split rhe tank. Is there a barb fitting beween the tank and air box, or one single line?

I think it's a single line, has been a few years since I did mine. Had to split my case cause the gas tank was leaking near the bottom of rear handle.

If you can't fish ot through you it looks like you will have to pull the rear handle / carb box off to get access to the tank opening for the line.

Ok need some help here. The bolt that is in pic holding cylinder on has came loose and is causing an air leak. It is a 7/16 wrench but ther is no room to do anything. I can get the wrench on it but cant move do to being such a tight spot.
Aside from trying to get a pair of needlenose vice grips in ther, any other ideas. I cant be the only one with this problem lol
