For what engine? Seems like they are all different, some old Fords have to be checked through the injector bore.

glow plug adapter has shrader valve in it will it work for leak down tester if i take it out?

You can take the schrader out and use it to pressurize the cylinder. A true leakdown kit has a regulator and a gauge to measure the percentage lost.

What compression numbers are you seeing? How even across the 3(?).

not yet. i bought a compression tester for hf and it did have the right 8mm glow plug adapter in it. believe it or not i got the adapter from wal mart lol. when i got the adapter it didnt fit the hf gauge quick connect, so i went and bought the one briggs offers and it does fit the adapter. i have also bought the fittings so that i can hook the adapter to my leak down tester. once i get it built ill send more pic before i use it just to make sure.

you also ask if i did a compression tester is there some info you have for me if so that would be awesome. still kinda new to the diesel world

I'm not a kubota guy. I do vw and mercedes diesels. What problems are you having? I don't know what numbers kubotas have but for a Benz I always hope for 400 across the board. For an alh vw I'm hoping for over 500. An engine with a variation of over 50psi is often a rough runner.

I have never done a leak down test.

have a over heating problems. think its the radiator ill send pics in a little.
