it sucks for sureIt's pretty upsetting. I love this damned saw, and it's my only big gun at the moment. Not to mention, the money invested was hard-earned.
How much time does this saw have on itI didn't snap a picture of the pings on the piston top, it was too challenging through the plug hole. View attachment 79289 View attachment 79290
randy in the last picture of intake side of cylinder what are the lines ?It doesn't look scored. Maybe a little bit of a rough edge on the port?
Can you feel anything with your fingernail?

doesn't matter how long you've been hereRoughly 2-3 total hours of run time.
I'm the new guy, and am simply responding to hysteria here. That being said, my previous piston and cylinder were jacked. I can feel a bit of texture, yes.
too niceHow's Grumpy sound?
Fixing to start cutting hay again soon though. I like winter time better. lol
there is a problem all the way around so probably not sealed up goodMaybe you can clean up the cylinder and throw a new piston in it, once the port edges are cleaned up?
Dallasscan I have a nickname too lol
