I tried my very damnest not to work on saws during June or July. I worked on quite a few still, but I did get to go see my mom, and we went to Sundance. That's all the traveling I plan to do this year. Fixing to start cutting hay again soon though. I like winter time better. lol

So I decided to do my due diligence and pull the spark plug and muffler on my 046. I had pulled the plug a couple of times before to check for lean/rich condition, and each time it's been "paper bag brown.". This time was no different, but...

The plug has been tapping the piston, and there's a lot of light scoring. Sigh.

I didn't snap a picture of the pings on the piston top, it was too challenging through the plug hole.
