You know I hate reading all the b.s. between friends that inevitably occurs when people don't think EXACTLY alike, but these threads are valuable for new guys like me, and "guests that lurk in the shadows. When I first read a whole bunch of this same type of stuff months ago on AS, I didn't like the harsh comments, but I truly appreciated the heads up. It threw up a red flag (about the same porter coincidentally) and let me know that this individual required extra scrutiny. That kind of info is very valuable for guys who are considering wading into the ported saw world.
Now here's the thing, Jason is not the only porter that I have read about that has had saw problems. BUT! He is the only one I have read about that refuses to take responsibility. All the other guys I have read about that had problems, had those problems addressed by the porter in a very cool manner, and I would send saw to any of those porters because I am confident that they stand behind their product. So the act of airing the dirty laundry isn't really the sin here. The sin is extremely poor customer service after the dirty laundry has been aired.
Sorry for the long and wordy post - I do have a hard time putting thoughts into words at times.
