I'm in the same boat...I sent him a 066 almost two years ago...as a free port job, so definitely no complaints as far as that goes.

It is disappointing to see someone ruin their name like this. I have never really thought about checking much into mine..had to replace the coil on it after a couple tanks of fuel, and honestly, have not run it much since. Knowing the saw was well used as a falling saw, it makes me wonder if he went through it as he said he would. One thing I. Priced right off, is the chain brake no longer worked upon getting it back.

I hope there are not too many others that got the shaft like this poor fellow...
Love to see you OPEbro's come together and help make it right!!

Good one on you Randy, calling it as it is. A good warning for others!!
Chain brake not working gets me... not that I'm a safety fanatic by any means but any saw wrench worth his salt can identify and fix a Stihl brake issue with his spare time and parts. Unless someone put the wrong handle/flag combo on, there's only what, 3 linkages a spring and two e-clips?

Eta- take off the clutch drum and dust cover--- take a look in there.

No doubt..like you said..a mistake is one thing , stickin it up someones ass is another.
Im alot of things...a thief isnt one of them.

Dentistry model?

I have been wondering all afternoon if Mason was going to say anything this time or not. He was here earlier and read the thread but hasn't had the balls to say anything.

I am amused that the only post he "Liked" was Jacob J correcting Randy that it was indeed the correct coil...

Yep I saw that. I'm sure he is letting his buddy know everything word for word.

Jason can still read all of this.

No,
They will fall off anyways.

Zingggg!

Can't agree with that one Ryan. Sometimes you just need to find the right wife. My life is 100x's better than it was before I met Tamara. Not to mention I am a better person too...
Marriage isn't everything tho. Lindsey and I have been together almost 4 years, we had a son, and everything has gone great. I've been married once before, won't do that again.

I have had it apart, and from what I remember, the flag does not actuate the linkage any more. I know it was working beforehand..
