Wow! That's about all I can say. I got home a while ago and just read through this whole thread. I think it speaks for itself.

I'm one of the guys who feels I've been treated well by him. I honestly can't complain, but there's absolutely no excuses for this kind of stuff.

I got into saws a little over a year ago, and had no idea who to trust and not. You live and learn. I'm just fortunate I didn't have to learn the hard way, and I feel for the guys that did.

The guys here on OPE are great, and quite a few of them I now consider my friends.
The willingness to donate parts and help out is incredible.

I know this post isn't really helping anyone, but I felt the need to write it anyways.

I'm in the same boat...I sent him a 066 almost two years ago...as a free port job, so definitely no complaints as far as that goes.

It is disappointing to see someone ruin their name like this. I have never really thought about checking much into mine..had to replace the coil on it after a couple tanks of fuel, and honestly, have not run it much since. Knowing the saw was well used as a falling saw, it makes me wonder if he went through it as he said he would. One thing I. Priced right off, is the chain brake no longer worked upon getting it back.

I hope there are not too many others that got the shaft like this poor fellow...
Love to see you OPEbro's come together and help make it right!!

Good one on you Randy, calling it as it is. A good warning for others!!
