Not too much of a derail, but another aftermarket name that seems to be okay is Hairun. I received this cylinder in a box from @Red97 and everything on it looked really good. It's ported now and seems to be a good runner

New west products makes a quality part in China, unfortunately a company here I the states has the right to their name and puts it on a lot of not so quality parts also, @Definitive Dave explained it to me 1 x.

It's New West co. Ltd and they're in Taiwan, which is probably why it's more costly and better quality than the China stuff.

I'd like to find a source for their full line...

either way stuff from Taiwan looks much better than stuff from cheeky china
but its the numbers outta the box for us that don't have a lathe..
