Cannon Super Mini weight

So I had read sometime back a post by a member that a Cannon Super Mini was lighter than a Stihl Rollomatic E in 18”. I was finally able to buy a certified scale and took some weights. Both are 18” bars in .325.

I also included a 20” Sugi in 3/8 for comparison.

I also weighed the power heads of a 026Pro and a 261 V2. I was surprised how close they were. I always felt that the 026 was a light saw. These are empty weights

Only thing I don’t like about the super mini is that it has a small tip.
That being said I need one in 16” 3/8 small mount husky

I’ve been using it to limb mainly and it’s been great. Anthony made me a nice chain for it.

Thems is a pretty sturdy bar. The Japanese make excellent steel though

That Sugi is a real 20” 3/8 .050 72. The rollomatic is 18” .325 .063 74

The Stihl ES light 20” is not much lighter actually. The Sugi is pretty light. I think the es light is 2.0 or something

Thems is a pretty sturdy bar. The Japanese make excellent steel though

+1 they are stronger than a tsumura or stihl light as well. Weight isn’t always everything in the woods.
