Looks and sounds great Tony - I can hear from you pulling it over that it has some monster compression.

For the record.... first full no load run with the tach went a tad lean and pulled low 15's
2nd run was 4 stroking nice and was at 14700
Settled with it on 14200 4 stroking strong for its first tank

Beast indeed, it just won’t sit still. Great work, and great to see it all together.
I for one don’t care what a person wears when working on or with a saw, it ain’t my bits and pieces.
Looking forward to the test cut!!

I’ve found mine to be happy in the 14,200 range also. Maybe a little less with a 36”

You need fuel to make power.
Lean sounds mean but usually nets lower maintained rpm in the cut.

First cuts today
Didn’t have big timber but these logs are an Australian class 1 hardwood rated for inground use and really hard.
The saw has bulk grunt but it’s owner will need to run it in some big timber when it gets home.

the saw is staying with me for anothe week and I should be able to go find some bigger timber next weekend.
I will line something up. I really want to run this saw loaded up hard

awesome build. just picked myself up a nice running short case 066 for a slab of jack. I think it might be the first saw I leave alone for a bit, just a clean up and a few new rubber parts.
