Im wanting to make the investment in 100' reel of chain for my bigger saws. I want 3/8 .050 full skip square ground. I like oregon but im open to most brands. Who has the best deals on full reels right now?

I prefer Stihl as it doesn't dull as fast. Archer seems to hold an edge well. I find Piltz tends to have good prices on square skip loops, maybe you can ask for a whole roll if nobody here sells rolls.

Frawley’s all day long. I’ve bought some cheaper stuff on eBay but if you want good Oregon chain at a fair price and quick shipping they’re the best I’ve found. Hard to say how many rolls I’ve bought from them over the years.

I did the math on it once. Stihl brand has a better price on a reel vs loops. There was almost 20% saving buying the reel. Oregon had the least saving getting a reel. Was better off buying loops. But that was for 3/8 chisel not square and 20” loops.

My brother bought a reel of 3/8 x .050 full-skip square ground chain straight from the Husky dealer I used to work for, it cost about $420-430 out the door which is about the cheapest you'll find it on ebay. Of course, I'm not sure if every shop would do that.

Dammit, I was gonna suggest that he get ads saying, "When you gotta have a chain, think Gotta Chain". I suppose "Gott Chain" still has a nice ring, though.

I’m selling it way to cheap then!

Any ideas on how much a 100' roll of Stihl chain should cost or a good place to get it? I asked my local dealer (not a good dealer) about RSLFK and was told MSRP is no cheaper than buying loops. Kinda stupid to sell bulk chain with no discount. I'm talking 38 cents per DL. I was hoping for more like 20-25c
