Keep them coming fellas, I think the one above and the OP's are neat. Incorperating the ball/swivel and lock is icing on the cake. Anyone know what Stihl/Husky offers their dealers as far as these saw vices? I use 90° angle iron with bar stud holes that gets held by the bench vise. It's simple but works but after seeing these two and some others, I feel I could have a much better adjustable ball swivel setup. Them quick release ball swivels are not cheap though for one able to firmly support the wieght of a saw.

Sorry mate, the tool list for the work shop is never ending:(. Wait till you have to buy a lathe and mill + all the tooling:crybaby2::crybaby2::crybaby2:!!!

Oh I have a spot in the garage waiting for a lathe.
Between guns and chainsaws it will be handy, just a bit tight at the moment so cant justify the spend.

Hunter Valley is in NSW, hour drive west of Newcastle

I hear you on the tigh funds. Was made redundant 10 days before chrissy and have only just got full time work again. Oh to have unlimited funds:(. The Hunters a nice spot. I'm in Cockatoo, bout an hour southeast of Melbourne.
