So the MTA got the mayday call from the ship and closed it to traffic about a minute before impact. However that wasn’t enough time for the workers to evacuate sadly.

The boat was being operated by an American harbor pilot.

Harbor pilot called in to shut the bridge down. Could have been alot worse.

I hear temu lost a full container, they claimed 58 dollars from their insurance.
