I saw these pop up for years in the UK, ex army surplus places that sell APCs, landrovers, self propelled guns, trailers etc, always wanted one but never in the right place at the right time with spare funds.

Good score mate, it's a fantastic colour

Get up on the wrong side of the fiord this morning Niko?:)

Not really, but I was woken up at the cabin at 5 am by a drunken friend, that just left at 8 am. Not my kind of fun, but you can't really throw out your friends just because they are drunk.....

No it's true you can't just heave them out the door but at least they will make you laugh when they've had a few:beer-toast1:

Utah, unfortunately.....
1989 week 3 fits with an early 281, but they didn't have that kind of chain brake for long after that. (changed february 1989 according to te IPLs).
Uncle,
Are you referring to the switch from metal to plastic? Please elaborate. Also, would this have applied to the 1989 288's as well?

Yes, and yes - according to IPLs. The first IPL showing the plastic one is dated 1989 - 02 (February) for both models.

This is later than for some other models I believe.

Well said, but being your friend, you can also slap them around a little for being inconsiderate.

Unless they found some bad news and found solace in drink.

He just is that way now and then - no biggie really, except he is feeling bad about it afterwards - and deserve to, as he vaste a lot of money that way (going around by taxi)....
