Yeah I thought about that but was worried about the heat from the saw
It's pretty durable. My boss dipped the case covers on his track bike, a fully race prepped crf450 sumo. Even with his boot rubbing, it's held up excellent.

I like that red real nice

That pink one should be on the new stihl calender... They really need some pink saws on the new calender...

Yeah that pink saw is my favorite saw LOL those pictures don't do it justice I'm just looking for something more durable than spray paint

I wonder if you some how "bleached" the plastic or died it white before you went with the pink color, if that would help it pop a little better.

Not sure I do have a light light pink ima try on it i should have done that in the first place but o well. Lol

I agree that hydro dip would be a good option but they spray a base coat also. Like John said proper surface prep is the key along with some sort of adhesion promoter.

Here's some i did.I found that you don't have to take off the aluminum badge.
They don't shine back up,i tried some armor all with little success.
I have some faded husky stuff to try.
The first set i did got a little to red,i just set a timer for an hour and it was to long.
I couldn't find orange dye,had to mix red and yellow.It doesn't take much red to the yellow.150.JPG 153.JPG 146.JPG 005.JPG
