See I done that paint thing all turned out really nice it's the one in my picture. But.... The other day when I went to go start the saw since it was cold out I pulled it the first time and it tried to pop off well it took the recoil from me and a recoiled and hit the side of the Plastics and literally broke all the paint off. That's what had me start looking for dyes... im going to give it a whirl on a old piece

It's easy to go to black with dye but other colors don't turn out near as well, if the plastic is dull the dye will be dull, those AM from Huztl are shiny if dyed when new.

Black is probably the best option for dye, I have never seen or heard of anyone using another color successfully

Well I'll see what I can do I wonder if it makes a difference if you add more dye into the water solution

I'm all right on the pink husky or any Husky for that matter besides my dogs. Making all my saws pink is very important to me it's a long story that I won't bother to get into so let's just say a lot of people are affected by the reasons behind me wanting to do this. Plus it kind of makes the wife happy so you kill two birds with one stone lol. Just wish i could make them pink withiut paint. Here is my pink rattle can job..

I have saw it on a jonsered, never affected them, the treatment is only done to the top of the cover, so didn't affect them
