From one disaster to the next lol.I have accidentally stoned some chains doing disaster clean up. Took a lot of grinding to make 'em cut again.
Philbert
A normal sawchain cutter as it crosscuts in the log kerf wanders all over the place losing cutting speed efficiency.I've never attended any chainsaw races, lest raced myself nor made a race chain!
Would someone be so kind and explain me the purpose of stoning a chain like shown in the video a couple posts back.
Narrower kerf?
Less aggressive/grabby side plate?
I get the grinding of the rivet heads, lesser drag.
Thank You!
I will take .3 seconds in a 3 cut race any day..
And take someone's lunch money because of it.
I'm using your lunch money right now Thomas!!!Or NOT...
