Terry, all the clones and the twin jets looked the same with the chrome choke plate...
I've also seen black and white on bothIMG_1083.JPG

The one on the left is the type that came with the saw and the one on the right is a twin jet clone. There's no way to tell them apart without taking off the diaphragm plate.
I've corresponded with Farmertec and sent pictures of both and the difference and have explained until I was blue in the face but no results. I suggested even making the twin jet carb and charging more just designate what it is. I'm thinking that's what's driving the carbs we're receiving now is production cost. There are brass jets and more milling involved. My thoughts anyway.

64.99 for six chains one stihl chain here is 30.60 or so after taxes.

Man that's expensive chain.... (Stihl that is)... I will have to check out local dealer out next time I'm there. I usually run Oregon and get it at a Husky Dealer for a buck an inch... 84DL or 24 for $24 and so on plus my discount makes it slightly less...

They have "dealer day's " at stihl occasionally so that makes it around 45-50 dollars for two chains lol
This is the going rate in the places I've checked around here Oregon's a bit cheaper i like it too
Mostly cut firewood now so i'll stick with the china chain.

Seeing more and more saws like the king park identical chassis different plastic this ones like the craftsman 42cc i posted before this ones at a rural king.
I would just buy one off ebay 80.00-100.00 shipped 50-52 or 58cc
The 42cc feels just as heavy as the larger displacement saws.20170521_123519.jpg

Other than that they have been good
And they hold their tune no issue's.

If the carb is new check your lines thoroughly for kinks or even splits.
I've had to work on new oem carbs
Kits etc.
When they wouldn't hold tune.

All new tubes, no split, rebuilt carb. New seals... blah blah.. It as if the low needle moves/vibrates in use..

Is your outer spike bent?
No it's flat i don't think I've ever bent one without breaking something lol
That's one of the husky full wrap kits from bailey's those spike's are thick.
I didn't think i would keep those large spike's on there but they are very handy for bucking.
