My neighbor picked up one of these with a scored piston for $100. The guy he bought if from said it wasn't straight gassed, but... I cleaned up the jug, put in a new meteor piston and caber rings after doing some porting and a 4* ignition advance.

I was impressed. It pulls like a freight train.

Some of the Chinese decomps suck. Some of the oil pick up tube's are too stiff to stay down in the oil when the saw is on its side. I would just run it and see what it needs if anything.

I've never messed with temu i have too much stuff setting around now.

AliExpress is where my first saws came from just grease the clutch bearing and run it
Eventually i did swap out the fuel and impulse lines for echo 3x5mm iirc
Eventually the supplied lines split in the fuel tank
But that was 7 year's ago might be different now.

My friend brought me a g288 he said the coil was going bad
It turned out the ignition module had come loose
So i'd loctite everything especially the exhaust fasteners.
