216.50 shipped to my door mine were 174.00 shipped last Christmas sale.
My favorite of the clones
I've run 2 of them so far no issues at all
Feel exactly like my oem 288s i have a few
The one with dj's ported oem cylinder is a horse.
That deal last year was really good. I grabbed a 288....I thought I remember it being around $175 to my door. Then there was that blue 372 they had for $89 plus shipping.

I have seen that video before, that's kinda what I was thinking for mine. I was going to use rivet nuts and one of the red97 deflectors. I wasn't sure if there was enough clearance for a rivet nut without hitting the muffler bolt. Just wondering what yours looked like. Thanks.

Orange 288 is pretty reasonable with the 50% off. Shipping to US is $67.

I got one of the orange G288's last Christmas sale also. I ported it, replaced the piston with a lightweight HyWay slug, did some carb work and it runs very well for me. I'm totally happy with that saw so far. I only have about 7 or 8 tanks through it so far cuz I just don't use a big saw like this all that often, but when I do, it's a pleasure to use. It pulls the 32" bar in Locust with authority.

This is in 32" Sugar Maple back on tank 5 or 6. It just keeps getting better.

I'm happy with mine for 83 bucks. I wish the bar was longer, it only came with a 10", but it works fine for my use.
Neighbor put a poulan wild thing 16" on his to reach overhead
Does fine on limbs and brush.

I really don't need a larger than 70cc saw often but i much prefer the 281/288 to the 395
It's slimmer and lighter
My ported 288s are stronger than a stock 395
We ran for my brother's timber business in the 80s 181/281/288s mostly until the 394 then later 395 came out.

Find a oem 365 or 372 power and have it ported
You'll amazed at the power difference
I have no experience with the 440 or 460 clones dynojoe has some videos of
Them putting out good power stock.

My friend dropped off his g288IMG_20241109_122005.jpg
He said the coil was bad and it was breaking up while revving
It was just a loose ignition module
I put loctite on itIMG_20241109_131340.jpgIMG_20241109_132014.jpg
And a longer pull rope original was way too shortIMG_20241109_133758.jpg
