Update on this neotec 395. So as I said I got throttle opening fully now. they sent me a new carb kit. I told them the decomp was no good and I had an oem one on order. They said sent them a receipt and they would reimburse me. They did. Then I told them about the oil hose not staying down in the oil when on its side. They wanted pics. I sent them and told them I ran into the same issue on a farmertec saw and I replaced with oem and it worked fine. They said, since you have already resolved the issue, we will refund you $20 off your Amazon account. They did. I am pretty impressed with their customer service so far.

My customer return saw arrived today
FedEx *a-hole left it in the yard
And sent me a picture
I was at work and called my neighbor to throw it on the porch before the thunderstorm hit.
I just got in from work and went through it
Can't feel those marks with my fingernail

IMG_20240627_020107.jpg
It fired on prime it's 2:30am and I'm tired I'll run it later today
The only issue with anything at all is the chain brake was engaged and it looks like someone tried to install it that way
I disengaged it and slapped it on.
I installed the falling spikes
I found a new in package 114dl .63 gauge full chisel chain in the box
And all the tools and extras.
I'm very impressed so far for 122.00 shipped
If all is good with the carb in my shop i found a nos Husqvarna full wrap and heavy duty falling spike kit in my shop
No clue where it came from.
I bought a new one when i got the holzfforma g395.

I have bigger scratches than that in a piston trying to hastily install rings... in fact, i did that last night trying to put together an ms362 and an ms261 on the floor of my spare bedroom....LOL

I want to put a 090 jug and piston on my 090g saw. Any recommendations on an aftermarket kit that is reputable.

well I contacted farmertec before ordering both these bars to make sure they were the thundercut ones and they insured me that they where and they just haven't updated the pictures but I would receive the newer bar. well as you can see that was not the case.

thing is the new bars are nothing more than paint there are not a resin core. I weighted a 25in solid and the same in the new resin core looking bar and they weight the same.

I saw the new bar and assumed they were just paint. Trying to make them look like the Tsumura and Husqvarna light bars.

Now I know.

Apparently it's a well known scam from neotec to move their less desirable saws when i bought the nh895 customer return they sent me a nh365 i thought it was odd since in my order note on PayPal i
Stated for nh895
Well several guy's on FB messaged me they did the same thing to them
Some got the heavy bastard 070 clones some got the various clones they didn't want instead of what they ordered
Neotec offered a discount like they did me on the next order.
I'm selling the nh365 no idea why any clone company continues to make 365s
I do prefer lowtop 372s
I have like 10 clone 365/372s floating around to friend's and family
No resale in clones and I've made several thousands of dollars cutting for people
They've paid for themselves.

I loaned a clone 372 with a 272 popup runs better than stock but not like a good ported 372
to a guy i work with IMG_20240626_231054.jpg
He'd borrowed a 021 off a neighbor and tried to chunk the whole tree down for some reason
IMG_20240626_231114.jpg
He about fried that saw
Dangerous cutting they sliced limbs off using a ladder
IMG_20240626_231041.jpg
I guess that scared them and he borrowed my saw
They had it down quick but it scared him to run it.IMG_20240626_231045.jpg
IMG_20240630_103102.jpg
So captain sawzall ran a couple hundred ft of extension cords and sawzalled the top for like 5 day's
It took 9 blades and he has blister's all over his hands
He's going to block the trunk up with the 372 this weekend he said.

So, they didn't refund any on the 365 they sent by mistake, they just discounted the 395? I would be pissed if they sent me the wrong saw.

I was on the fence about throwing a fit
But 137.00 for a decent saw i can resale
I kept it
Now if it was like the white farmac 372 with a toasted topend i would've made them take it back.
But the 365 was good to go.

Cut down the piston pin bosses on a 066 piston for my holzfforma 288IMG_20240707_114209.jpg
I marked the width got the close with a grinding bit
And assembled a diamond disc on the mandrel to true the sides up IMG_20240707_131914.jpg
Dj sent me this ported oem non decomp 288 cylinder
IMG_20240707_123429.jpg
Extra high compression you have to really want it to start itIMG_20240707_182854.jpg
I heat cycled it today.

The 288 has extremely high compression i may send that non decomp cylinder back for a texas button
That recoil can really take some abuse

Damn strong 288 it's far stronger than that 395 for now at least i haven't done anything at all to the 395.
I'll run this as my big falling/blocking saw
It has a lot more balls than my oem 288s
It doesn't bog or cut out leaning on it
And keeps rpms through the cut.
I don't know how much the 066 piston helped
I'll put one in a blue 288 with the holzfforma cylinder for milling
It's quite a bit lighter and has double rings and the skirts are narrower than a 288 piston
It might help with the flow I don't know
I do know it adds tons of compression.
