That's a shame man. They should have packaged that better.

The worst part is that was back the 1st week of February. FT and FedEx are STILL ‘investigating’ what happened. I have no clue if I’ll get my money back or replacement pole or a dry poke in the backside.

I like my holzfforma saws but the bars just don't seem to last very long if you use them alot. Both my holz saws wear stihl bars for that reason.

Ok, since this thread seems to be anything and everything clone saw, i need some help. This is from the screen in the Walbro carb off a G660 Pro. and this is the 2nd time I've had to clean it. This time the screen cavity was completely full. It's sawdust and even what looks like a little stem from a weed. Last time it was just sawdust. Nothing on the fuel filter either time. Last time I put a new filter in it anyway. And it gets better! this is one of 2 identical saws that have identical dirt. I cleaned both a month ago and they are both back in the shop. Once clean it ran perfect last time. No fuel line leaks. Almost no dirt in the tank. There's 10 times the dirt here in the carb then there was in the tank.

I've rebuilt a couple of stihls a 260 and a 290 that had clogged up carbs
And filter's like that
I guess they slowly starved for fuel
And fried them.
I'd switch to a Husqvarna style filter
I've never had that happen in hundreds of saws I've worked on.

Oddly this one has the early 371xp chain adjuster style and no spikes

How does it get to the screen if it's not coming from the filter?

That's the part that was driving me nuts, it can't. But it was. I think I figured out the problem though, at least with the Hyway filters. The media isn't up tight against the tap cap so I think crud was bypassing the media and going right to the tap, up the line and to the screen. If you look close here you can see small light colored bits around the cap and near the tap.

@dirter Put a genuine stihl filter on the line... what the heck is that burlap sack filter?! It looks to me like its that "filter" media breaking down...

get an orange stihl filter and never have that problem again! That filter is garbage.
The stem on the Husqvarna style filter might be too small and fall off in the tank.
