I’m looking at buying a bigger 70cc to accompany my 490 Echo. Any saw will work, 044, 372, 572, 73/7900, or any others you might have for sale. They can be in any condition, but my budget is $750 max.

Ask your grandpa mustard about the asian saws. I hear he builds a real beast.

You should wait for the next sale and buy a 572 from HL.
@cuinrearview Hi, cuinrearview, happy new year. how does HL sell pro saws? All I see are echos and non-pro husky’s. Is there a different website? Or do they just show up under chainsaws on the hlproparts site? Thanks in advance, Mike

I’d suggest that you look at 038 Magnums

Save a bunch of $$ and have a strong and reliable tank that can’t be killed easily, except by it’s operator

Any 70cc would work, old Macs included. You have one that’s for sale?
I will keep my eyes open for you, and put some feelers out.
I have to agree with the 038 also pretty good saw and built rugged with a strong after market.
Thats always something to consider ,is parts support. I started with Mopar vehicles when I was younger and looking back it would have been a whole lot easier (cheaper)for me to play with Chevy or ford with parts.
